Gate Access

All individuals 18 years of age or older entering Fort Lee are subject to a background check, which is accomplished through identification card scanning. Only federal or state government-issued documents – such as military identification, Common Access Cards and driver’s licenses – are accepted (see the link below for Acceptable Identity Documents and more information). Screening can be accomplished at any installation access gate to the main cantonment.

Parking / Accessibility

Parking is available to the front of the Museum in the lot off 'A' Avenue. Additional parking is available behind the Museum accessible from Shop Road. All parking is free.

The Army Women's Museum is committed to providing an enjoyable museum experience for all of its visitors. The museum is wheelchair accessible throughout its lobby and exhibit spaces and its bathrooms are ADA compliant. There are no stairs to negotiate.
